Margaret Anne Walsh
Dec. 16, 1917 to Dec. 3, 2013

This is a video to pay tribute to my late aunt Margaret Anne Walsh, age 95, of Murdock Minnesota.

When I visited my aunt Margaret at Bethesda Heritage Center, a nursing home in Willmar, Minnesota, I would almost always bring my dog Andrew, age 15, a West Highland White Terrier, until he was put to sleep in May 2013.

In June 2013 I found a Yorkshire Terrier mix breed dog at a shelter in Willmar, with the help of petfinder.com The dog developed kennel cough seven days after adoption, weighing in just over nine pounds. I almost returned the dog because of the dog’s illness.

After a clean bill of health, I named the dog Bobby, now weighing in at over 10 pounds. This dog would bring joy and comfort to my aunt in her last days, and to many residents, including staff at my aunt’s nursing home.
